Hi! We're Jason and Lauren Pak! We're a personal training duo on a mission to bring a more grounded and reasonable approach to health and fitness.

We've been personal trainers since 2007, and throughout that time we've worked with thousands of people. We even owned our own gym for nearly a decade, and this facility was basically our laboratory.

We were able to test and experiment and really figure out what "works" (and what doesn't work!) when it comes to mobility and training.

All of this experience put us in a unique position to really understand what the average person needs when it comes to mobility training. All of the drills in Pursuit:Mobility have been tested and refined over the years - not just randomly selected and thrown together haphazardly!

Who is Pursuit:Mobility for?

Is Pursuit:Mobility suitable for beginners?

Yes, absolutely! Pursuit:Mobility is a progressive program - meaning that it starts off at a reasonable difficulty and then advances to more complex movements as the weeks go on.

The best part about the program is that you can go at your own pace! Pursuit:Mobility is designed so that you can repeat any given week until you feel comfortable moving on to the next week!

Is this just yoga?

While there are plenty of yoga-inspired movements throughout Pursuit:Mobility, this program is extremely different from traditional Yoga.

Yoga is more of a holistic approach and is a spiritual, physical, and mental discipline whereas Pursuit:Mobility is designed for a very specific purpose - improving the way your joints and muscles move.

Instead of a long, intensive practice, this program is all about short, highly targeted, and methodical ways to improve your mobility.

How will I receive the program?

What equipment will I need?

We purposely designed Pursuit:Mobility to have minimal equipment needs so that it was accessible to as many people as possible!

That being said, there are some items we needed to include to maximize the effectiveness of the program:

-A soft mat or pad or pillow for underneath your knees
-A bench or elevated surface (couch, ottoman, chair, etc.)
-A light weight (dumbbell, kettlebell, or home item ~5-10lbs)
-An upright support (beam, squat rack upright, door frame, etc.)
-A heel elevation (weight plate, slant board, hard cover book, etc.)
-A hand elevation (yoga block, small box, hard cover books, etc.)
-A resistance band

Is 5 minutes a day really all you need?

Yes, for the vast majority of folks who are just looking to move better and improve their mobility, 5 minute daily sessions is really all that's needed!

This program isn't about being able to achieve the splits or a straddle pancake - it's about moving through life better! With the right targeted approach, you can accomplish just that in less than 5 minutes per day :)

What happens after the 6 weeks?

The program is yours forever, so you can repeat it, pick your favorite drills and include them in your warm ups, pick your least favorite drills and do them until they become your favorite... ;) etc.

The 6-week nature of the program is to help with consistency, but you can truly use this guide in whichever way works best for you. There are suggestions within the guide for specific ways to use it after the initial 6 week period is over to help you make the most of this program!
