With RISE, we take all of that functional goodness mentioned above and seamlessly blend it with all of the classic lifts you’re used to (squats, deadlifts, lunges, push-ups, pull-ups, etc).

The result is the most complete and comprehensive plan you’ve likely experienced. Each new four week block of RISE builds upon the previous phase and you’ll never have to worry about hitting a plateau ever again due to our focus on progressive overload.

The exercise history feature allows you to see your results for a specific exercise for as long as you've been logging your results in the app. This helps you know how to progress from week to week and month to month, and allows you to see how far you've come!

Hi! We're Jason and Lauren Pak! We're a personal training duo on a mission to bring a more grounded and reasonable approach to health and fitness.

We've been personal trainers since 2007, and throughout that time we've worked with thousands of people. We even owned our own gym for nearly a decade, and this facility was basically our laboratory.

We were able to test and experiment and really figure out what "works" (and what doesn't work) when it comes to a sustainable fitness routine that gets results.

All of this experience put us in a unique position to truly understand what the average person needs from a training program, and we've been able to put that expertise into the development and continuous fine-tuning of the RISE program.

What equipment will I need access to?

We understand that everyone has slightly different access to equipment, so we created two versions of our RISE program: RISE and RISE lite. The main difference between the two is that RISE lite will not utilize barbells. Otherwise, the programs will be quite similar in design. If you don’t have access to barbells, or if you simply don’t enjoy using them, you’ll want to choose our RISE lite option at checkout!

If you want to be able to follow our RISE programs as written, the following equipment is recommended:

Barbell and Weight Plates (not required for RISE lite)

Bench

Dumbbells and/or Kettlebells

Stability Ball

Cable Machine and/or Bands

Pull-Up Bar

TRX and/or Suspension Trainer Equivalent

This program has a lot of variability, and therefore requires a decent amount of equipment! However, you always have the option to make modifications if you don’t have certain pieces of equipment. So, for example if you don’t have a stability ball, you can swap out those exercises for exercises with similar movement patterns that utilize a different piece of equipment instead!

What if I don't want to workout 4 days a week?

Not a problem! We actually have 2 and 3 day versions of the program available, and you can simply message us in the app and we will switch you over to one of those options instead!

How much experience do I need?

RISE is for those who already have some previous experience working with dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells.

If you have absolutely no prior gym or lifting experience, we recommend checking out our foundational program, ELEVATE, before starting on RISE. You can find our foundational program at www.achievefitnessonline.com/programs/elevate.

Do I have to start at the beginning of a new phase or can I start anytime?

RISE is a rolling enrollment, so you can start anytime, however you will be joining at the point where the program is at. So, for example if the new program went out on January 1st and you join on January 14th, you will be starting on Day 14 of that program. Programs are 4 weeks long, so a new one is released every 4 weeks. Within the 4 weeks, there are built in progressions, so if you end up starting halfway through, you will be doing the same workouts as you would have in week one, but there may be additional reps or sets.

How long is the commitment?

No minimum length terms or contracts! If you wish you cancel your subscription at any time you can simply message us in the app and we'll take care of it for you!

What if I have questions about the workouts?

We are very active in our Facebook group and you can ask any questions that come up about the program or your form in there! You can also message us in the app if you don't use Facebook!

What's the difference between RISE and RISE lite?

The two programs are very similar! The only difference is that RISE incorporates barbells, and RISE lite does not! We made this distinction because we know a lot of folks either don't have access to a full squat rack with barbells and plates, or they simply don't feel comfortable with the barbell and prefer kettlebells, dumbbells, etc.

You can always switch from one to the other at any point, so if you choose RISE but end up wanting to switch over to RISE lite, you can simply send us a message in the TrueCoach app and we'll take care of it for you right away!

Does my subscription auto-renew

Subscriptions auto-renew each month so that you don't have to purchase the next phase every time one is coming to an end, and instead you simply get the new program uploaded straight to your account! Of course, you can cancel any time so if at any point you're not interested in continuing on, you can simply message us through the app and we will take care of cancelling your subscription!

How long are the workouts?

The workouts take about an hour on average.

What is the app called?

We deliver our programs through the TrueCoach app! Within 24 hours of you placing your order, our team will create a TrueCoach account for you and you will receive instructions on how to download the app and login to your account. The program will already be loaded onto your account and you'll be able to get started right away!

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can message us directly in the app and we will take care of your cancellation for you! If you prefer, you could also email us at [email protected].

Our billing system is separate from the app itself, so changing your information in the app will not cancel your subscription or update your credit card. We are happy to assist you with any billing questions/concerns so just reach out through the app messenger or via email!
